Bigfoot's Wooden Brick Wall

Bigfoot's Wooden Brick Wall

This beautiful brick pattern end grain cutting board will not only look amazing in your kitchen, but don't be afraid to use it as well, our boards are made to be cut on!  This board is crafted out of 100% real hardwoods.  It comes with routed handles on the side for ease of use.  You will find end grain cutting boards in most professional and serious home chef's kitchens.  All of our cutting boards are finished with a food safe blend of  mineral oil and beeswax.

***Please note the board pictured is already sold and new boards will differ slightly with the grain pattern as no two pieces of wood are alike***

When cutting on an end grain board, your knives will love you as they stay sharper.  You are slicing in between the wood's fibers. End grain cutting boards are somewhat “self-repairing” because the wood fibers bounce back into place after chopping.  An exaggerated example would be like holding a paintbrush up right and running your knife through the bristles.

You can add a juice groove, rubber feet, or personalization to any board.

Our cutting boards come in a variety of sizes, colors and patterns to fit any kitchen.  We have face grain, edge grain, and end grain boards.

  • Caring for your new cutting board

Lightly clean with soap and warm water immediately after use.  (both sides - even if you only used one side)

DO NOT soak or submerge your board in water

    Hand dry with towel

Let completely dry on its side, making sure top and bottom have air flow to prevent cupping and warping.

Do not store your board flat (as this can cause cupping and warping over time) store your cutting-board on its side. Those who wish to store your board flat on a countertop, add rubber feet to one side of your board for optimal air flow. (Some may be included)

NEVER put your cutting board in the dishwasher

Whenever your board starts to look like it is drying out, re-apply a cutting board conditioner.  This will ensure your board will last a lifetime and keep it looking brand new.  It is recommended to do this at least once a month.
